Gage raised an eyebrow at Lunaris' last statement. He lets out a small chuckle as his sword pressed down on Lunaris' blade, doing all he can to overpower him and put him down for good. "Such noble words for someone who's dancing with death itself." He said as he pushed even further. Lunaris could feel his strength draining from the prolonged struggle. Gage was indeed stronger than him at this point. Lunaris lets one eye travel to a nearby window to see the sun slowly going below the horizon. Gage catches this and only smirks. "That's right….get a nice view of the sunset, for it shall be the last time you will ever get to see it." He said as he tightens his grip on the blade. At this point, Lunaris was on one knee, doing all he could to keep his blade from slamming down on his head.  Sweat was starting to drip down his face as it was truly not looking good for him.

Drago, Valkryie, and Alythia only watched from afar as Gage was overpowering him. Valkyrie and Alythia were extremely worried for Lunaris while at the same time, wishing that they could fight with him. "Go Lunaris! Don't let him overpower you like this!" Valkyrie suddenly screamed out. Alythia soon joined in as they started to cheer him on. After a few minutes of cheering, they look to Drago as he stood there, silently watching the whole ordeal. "Why aren't you doing anything to help him?" Alythia asked. "Yeah, he's your master isn't he?" Valkyrie added on. Drago looked to them with a small smirk. "I'm not helping him because he doesn't need any help." He said, making them both tilt their heads in wonder. He knew something that they clearly didn't. Valkyrie spoke up next. "What is that supposed to mean? Lunaris is getting creamed out there!" she retorted, making Alythia worry slightly. Drago kept his smirk as he continued. "That is true but its only for now. But wait til nightfall, when the moonlight touches the blade.." he said which made them both wonder even more. Their thoughts were soon interrupted as they heard a clinging noise from the battle. They looked to see that Lunaris is starting to push back, getting both feet firmly planted back on the floor again before pushing Gage off completely, making him go back about 4 feet. This made Alythia sigh in relief while making Valkyrie cheer on.  The sun was nearly down as it was showing signs of night.

"You're pretty tough, dragon." Gage complimented as he watched Lunaris get into a defensive stance. "But I grow bored with toying with you…now time to put you down." He said as he flares his wings and going into a hover. He then darts at Lunaris with his blade aimed at the ground in preparation for an upward slash. Lunaris sees this coming and tries to defend but it was too late, Gage's blade has found its way to its mark, slashing Lunaris across the chest, going in an diagonal up to his right shoulder, making him scream out in pain. Gage grinned from this, making him chuckle. "Oh the sweet sound of someone's agony….it's exhilarating. " Gage said as he flares his wings again. "Let's see how much you can scream before you die.." he darts at him again, his sword raised over his shoulder this time. Lunaris, while still in pain, was still able to see the attack coming. He quickly brings his sword back up to him while he is still able to. Gage's blade comes into contact with Lunaris' once again, making a loud cling sound. Gage smirked as he surveyed Lunaris' form, bloody and heavily breathing. "Look at you….wounded and exhausted and you still have some energy to hold me off. I must say it's been fun but now it's time to end this." He said as he pulls his sword back quickly, making a 360 roundhouse kick to Lunaris' face. This connects, making Lunaris spit up some blood. Gage follows up with a swift blow to the stomach before finishing up fierce jab to the face, making Lunaris skid towards the far end of the main room. Gage studies him carefully, looking to see if there are any vital signs coming from him. Lunaris lets out small gasps for air as he tries to get a hold of what just happened. Gage jumps as far as he could before diving at Lunaris, his left knee raised. Lunaris tries to get himself up but soon feels the impact of Gage's knees at his abdomen, chocking out a scream of pain. The impact made a small cloud of smoke. Gage soon backs from the smoke as he keeps a solid look on his face. He was ready for him if he got up again. Alythia and Valkyrie watched as Gage drove the already downed Lunaris further. Alythia was now clutching her hands to her chest even tighter, silently praying for him to be ok. They looked on as the smoke cleared and were horrified. There was a crater that was about 8 feet in diameter. Inside the crater, was their beloved white dragon covered in blood from his wound and mouth. He looked like he wasn't breathing. Gage smirked widely before breaking into a small laugh. He then looks to the three in the air as he grins towards them, especially Alythia. She saw the gaze and quickly looked away, somewhat tearing, afraid that her beloved could be gone for real this time.

Night was now present over the land as the moon shined itself over the land. Gage kept his smirk as he continued to look at the three above him. Lunaris slowly opened his eyes, looking towards the sky as the night finally appeared. He kept a firm hold on his blade as the moon shined down on it. The blade begins to glow slightly as he himself started to glow along with it. Gage kept his gaze on the three as Alythia and Valkyrie stood in fear while Drago stood ready to defend if necessary. "You see…your savior is now nothing more than a mere insect to my power." He said, completely oblivious to small glow coming from the crater. "You should have just married me, Alythia. Just stayed in your room like a good girl and none of this would be happening." He spoke towards her. Her eyes sealed shut as she refused to listen to his words. Valkyrie only gritted her teeth as he rambled on. Drago remained silent, sneering at the dragon. Drago soon catches a small glow from the corner of his eye and follows up, leading back to the crater. His sneer soon becomes a small smirk as the glow begins to get brighter with each passing moment. Alythia raises her eyes towards Drago then notices his small smirk. She tilts her head in wonder before following his eyes. She looks to the crater where Lunaris lays, her eyes glowing wide. She looks back to Gage who was still unaware of what's going on.  

"You're wrong…" she muttered to him. This made Gage stop his smirking to look at her. "How am I wrong? Your savior is dead, I have won, the kingdom, and all of Darastix shall be mine. So please tell me how am I wrong?" At that moment, he sees something bright flying at him before he feels a fist in his face at excessive speeds, faster than any punch he has felt before. The impact was strong enough to break his jaw along with sending him flying back about 30 feet into the thrones, destroying them on impact as well as making a small cloud of smoke and dust. Gage quickly ascends from the rubble, furious from the hit. He takes a hand to his jaw and realigns it back in place with a loud pop, making him groan heavily in pain. He looks to the source of the hit as his eyes grow wide. There stood the dragon he thought he killed, glowing as bright as the moon itself. His eyes are no longer golden, but silver slitted. The wounds he had sustained earlier have been healed.

"Because, I'm not dead my friend." Lunaris answered for Alythia. Alythia and Valkyrie both looked on in amazement. Drago only stood there, smirking even more. Valkyrie looked to Drago in puzzlement. "What happened to Lunaris? He's…." Drago only smiled to her as she was at a loss for words. "The moonlight has shined over the blade.." he answered with a small smile on his face.
